Billing Policy: The DNA Resource Center makes its best effort to provide comprehensive services for DNA sequencing and analyses of DNA samples from customers. To optimize quality control, the center uses procedures and reagents recommended by Applied Biosystems and Beckman Coulter. The analysis of a reference DNA standard provided with the reagents is included with each run. However, the quality of the analyses is dependent on the quality of the initial DNA sample provided by the customer. Please prepare your DNA sample based on the Sample Preparation Guidelines. The policy of the facility is to charge for all analyses in which the reference DNA sample yields a standard level of quality. In cases where the control DNA analyses fails to yield an accuracy of greater than 96% over the first 650 bases, the facility will not charge for samples.

Please contact the DNA Resource Center for charges related to the use of all biomolecular instruments. All services for University of Arkansas customers must be paid with a valid Cost Center number. Off-campus customers will receive an invoice.
